Best for: validating a Universal Commerce Protocol manifest, and market-wide UCP adoption data. Free Chrome extension; see ucpchecker.com for plans.

A 0–100 UCP Score from three weighted categories: Agent Discovery 30%, UCP Conformance 40%, Capability Coverage 30%. It monitors over 23,000 storefronts, re-checked every 24 hours, and publishes its methodology in full. A separate product, UCP Playground, runs end-to-end agent shopping sessions.

What it won't do: Score much beyond UCP: by default the score comes from static signals, and its opt-in probes are read-only and "do not exercise checkout", per its methodology page. A store without a UCP manifest has little to measure there.

3. AI Commerce Audit (aicommerceaudit.com)

Best for: a per-AI-surface breakdown (ChatGPT, Google, Perplexity, Meta, Copilot) for Shopify, BigCommerce and WooCommerce. Audit free; fixes with a free account; monitoring paid.

Scores a store 0–100 with 82 checks across discovery, product data, crawlable policies and the ACP, UCP and Stripe checkout specs, with a separate score for each of five AI surfaces and a fix list ranked by severity, each linked to the admin page that fixes it.

What it won't do: Cover platforms beyond the three it names, as far as its page says. The step-by-step fixes need an account, and re-audits over time are on paid plans.

4. Agentic Commerce Readiness Scanner (agenticcommerce.shop) — Agentic Commerce Alliance and Shopware

Best for: Shopware merchants, and a quick three-layer AI readability read. Free (labelled beta).

An "AI readability" scan in three layers — AI discovery, catalog readability, transaction readiness — with a prioritized action plan, plus a UCP Simulator that "drives a virtual agent through your shop" and an LLM visibility test that queries a GPT model about your store. Built by the Agentic Commerce Alliance with Shopware.

What it won't do: Lead with the transaction: its headline score is AI readability, and transaction readiness (policies, reviews, APIs, checkout signals) is one layer of three. The scanner is labelled beta.

5. AgenticTrack (agentictrack.ai)

Best for: WooCommerce stores that want product data fixed and written back, product by product. Free scan and generators; Pro for write-back fixes.

Audits every product against ACP, UCP and MCP and breaks the score down by schema, identifiers and attributes; on Pro, AI-drafted fixes are written back to the store on approval. Free no-signup tools: a store scanner and generators for Product JSON-LD, llms.txt and an AI-bot robots.txt allowlist.

What it won't do: Run on Shopify or Wix yet (both "coming soon"; WooCommerce is live), or track agent-placed orders yet — that Pro feature is announced as coming soon.

Best for: checking a store against the UCP and ACP specs, with paste-ready code. Free, no signup.

A 147-check audit against the UCP and ACP standards that returns the top five fixes with paste-ready code in about ten seconds, inside a wider AI-visibility and AI-commerce suite.

What it won't do: Say much, on its page, about the access layer (robots rules, bot blocking at the edge) or variants — it is framed as a protocol audit. The rest of the suite is about AI visibility and selling inside assistants.

7. AI Commerce Agent Readiness Auditor (Apify actor by Trove Vault)

Best for: developers auditing many storefronts in bulk through an API. From $4.25 per 1,000 tasks (Apify).

Loads each storefront in a real browser and runs shopping tasks, returning an overall readiness score plus sub-scores for machine access, structured data, product discovery, checkout readiness, policy discovery and performance, with a task outcome (completed, partial, blocked) and screenshots.

What it won't do: Come with a support team: it is a community-maintained actor with two total users when we checked. By its own README it doesn't measure ranking inside any AI assistant.

8. Cloudflare's Agent Readiness checker (isitagentready.com)

Best for: a free, instant infrastructure check on any website. Free.

Checks across five categories — discoverability, content accessibility (Markdown negotiation), bot access control (AI bot rules, Content Signals, Web Bot Auth), protocol discovery (MCP Server Card, Agent Skills, WebMCP, API catalog, OAuth) and commerce (x402, MPP, UCP, ACP) — then hands you instructions to paste into a coding agent.

What it won't do: Check anything product-level: its commerce checks look for protocol files, not offers, variants, policies or the path to checkout. A store can pass and still be un-buyable for agents. Check by check: /vs/cloudflare.

9. Ora (ora.ai)

Best for: watching a real agent attempt a task on your site. See ora.ai.

Scores how agents find, read and use any domain or MCP server, with a public leaderboard of over 100,000 scanned sites. Its Journey feature points a real agent at a domain with an intent you choose and records every step: what it found, where it stalled, whether it finished.

What it won't do: Focus on stores: its leaderboard and examples are software and developer sites, and its score is not commerce-specific.

The category leader in answer-engine visibility: tracks brand mentions, citations and share-of-voice across assistants at enterprise scale (as of mid-2026, not re-verified).

What it won't do: Touch the transaction: it measures whether you're recommended, not whether an arriving agent can complete a purchase.

11. AgentReady by Caffeine & Commerce (joinagentready.com) — unaffiliated namesake

Best for: Shopify SMBs wanting weekly LLM mention-rate monitoring. Free checker · monitoring ~$29/mo (as of mid-2026).

A readability checker plus weekly sampling of real customer questions against ChatGPT/Gemini/Perplexity with per-engine mention rates and wrong-answer alerts, backed by a long-running Shopify Partner agency.

What it won't do: Probe transaction rails, variants or checkout, or compare you to a named competitor. No relation to this site despite the shared name.

12. AgentReadyHQ (agentreadyhq.com) — unaffiliated namesake

Best for: a second-opinion scan for non-Shopify stores. Free score; paid monitoring reported (unverified, 2026-10).

A protocol-weighted e-commerce readiness scanner aimed at WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento and custom builds — the closest tool to ours in method.

What it won't do: Rank every scanned store in a public, re-measured index, as far as we could see (2026-10). For a second opinion, run both reports on the same store. No relation to this site.

13. Tune by Agent Ready (agentready.online) — unaffiliated namesake

Best for: hands-off managed regeneration of AI-readability files. ~€299/mo per site (listed mid-2026, not re-verified).

A done-for-you service: monthly re-scan plus regenerated llms.txt, JSON-LD and robots.txt files — the "requirements drift, we keep the files fresh" pitch, for any website.

What it won't do: Audit the purchase path or provide e-commerce-specific checks; cadence is monthly, not on-demand. No relation to this site.

14. Agent Ready (agent-ready.dev) — unaffiliated namesake

Best for: developers checking agent-readability of general (non-commerce) websites. Free + Pro plans (as of mid-2026).

They measure different layers, so two of them on the same store often disagree.

Do any of these tools test a real checkout?

None of the free store scanners completes a real purchase, AgentReady included: we follow the path up to the checkout boundary and stop. The closest to a live attempt are tools that run an agent or a browser through a site — UCP Checker's separate UCP Playground, the UCP Simulator on agenticcommerce.shop, Ora's Journey and the Apify actor's shopping tasks.

What's the difference between readability, visibility and buyability?

Readability: can machines parse your site (llms.txt, schema, clean markup). Visibility: do AI answers mention or recommend you. Buyability: can an agent that arrives actually complete a purchase — access, offer data, variants, policies, checkout. Most tools on this page do one job; conflating them is how stores end up "AI-optimized" yet un-buyable.

Why are several entries called AgentReady?

"Agent ready" is becoming the category's generic phrase, so unrelated teams keep converging on the name. They are separate, unaffiliated companies — full disambiguation at /vs/namesakes.

Do I need more than one of these?

Often two: a transaction audit (so agents that arrive can buy) plus, once that's fixed, a visibility monitor (so more agents arrive). Running Cloudflare's free checker alongside costs nothing and catches infrastructure regressions.
